 | Every year we depend on the eighty or more coaches who volunteer to teach our players the skills and strategies of baseball. None of them are retired MLB players. A few may have played at the college level, more may have played through highschool but for many, this is their first venture back in to the game since their own youth. They are parents who are willing to commit the time and patience to leading a team. ABC is constantly seeking people who are willing to make this commitment.
Many of our coaches become involved at the T-ball or A league level to be a part of their own child's experience. The majority of these coaches find the experience rewarding enough to continue on through the Majors level with ABC. With the introduction in 2008 of the Cal Ripken coaching certification program, all of our coaches are able to benefit from an online comprehensive training program.
